Christmas means so many different things to so many different people. I love what the quote above says, it's "Love in Action"!
That is just awesome!
As a child, Christmas for me was all about Santa Clause and Christmas Carols.
But Santa had it going on!
The spirit, the energy and mystery of Santa Clause. Then as I grew older, it became clear that there were very distinct stages of Santa Clause...
Stage 1. Not Believing in Santa Clause.
This stage happens usually because one is usually to young to fully
understand who that funny looking guy is in the Red Suit.
Stage 2. Believing In Santa Claus.
This is a very exciting stage because you now know Santa is a good guy! He brings gifts! He has Elves! He has Raindeer that travel all night to deliver presents to children all over the world.
Stage 3. Questioning Santa Clause.
At this stage you start asking your mom or dad if there really is a Santa Claus. Then your parents start the verbal Santa Clause dance which usually starts with..."If you don't believe in Santa, you may not get what you asked for..."At this point, as a kid, I remeber believing one more year!
Stage 4. Not Believing In Santa Clause.
Ok, now you know the scoop about Santa. The cat is out of the bag and now you share this great secret with the adults. However, now, you carry on the
mysterious tradition for all the young folks that one knows.
Stage 5. Becoming Santa!
At this stage one becomes fully realized into the experience and becomes Santa! This is AWESOME! This is SO FUN!
In any case, what ever stage of Santa Clause you happend to be experiencing, I hope you find it Fun and fullfilling!
Which brings me to...
What did Santa Clause bring you for Christmas this year?
This year Sanata Claus he gave me a new belly button! Yup, a new belly button! Just a few days ago I had to have an emergency belly button hernia operation.
Last week my belly button stuck out. It was an outy! Now it sticks in!
As painfull as this operation was, I'm gald it finally fixed. Recovery time is 4-6 weeks. i'll keep you updated.
