I first recorded Amazing Grace for solo guitar back in 1991. This is on my "New Beginnings" CD. The melody is simple and BEAUTIFUL!

I asked Justin Vogel, our musical director at the church to help out and play thru the melody the first time through. Just Classical Guitar and Bass Guitar. Then after Justin's intro, I take over to finish off this magically beautiful haunting melody. Hope you enjoy the video.

Las Vegas Guitarist Robby LeBlanc will be

Yesterday I got a last  minute call to play a concert
this Friday in Henderson Nevada. It is an outdoor venue.

I will be the musical entertainment before the play?

I opened the Las Vegas "Strings For Tibet" Concert with a
song by Stanley Meyers called Cavatina. This song was featured
in the movie the Deer Hunter with Robert DeNiro.

I used a Godin Guitar Synthesizer with a Roland VG-99. With this
combination I was able to create a Sitar/Guitar sound. It sounded great.
This piece was originally written for Classical Guitar and Orchestra. In this
version, I improvised an solo introduction just playing my guitar synthesizer.
The band doesn't come in for a minute or two. Notice the Sitar/Bells
sound...After the video, tell me what you think...
