How can I ever forget where I was on that fateful day? I had a scheduled surgery exactly one week later to remove a tumor in my head which ended up costing me my hearing in my left ear, but when I compare my loss to those who lost it all how fortunate I feel to still be here. To all those who serve others, where ever they are, be it fireman, policeman, military, or any other service, thank you for protecting those of us who have learned t count on you. “No greater love hath a man than he should lay down his life for his friend”.
